As the founder & Principal architect of MA|Architects, Inc., Steve brings more than 18 years of experience in health care planning, design & construction. His project experiences range in construction value from $50,000 to $1billion for medium to large sized firms, including the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Veterans Affairs. He graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and is NCARB Certified with licenses in California, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, a LEED Accredited Professional, an ICC certified Building Plans Examiner and a member of CSHE.
As a Service Disabled Veteran, Steve is dedicated to contributing to the built environment to support our Service Members, Veterans and their families. Mr. McCaslin maintains a direct involvement with every project from conception through construction and leverages his past experience on award winning projects to deliver innovative & sustainable design solutions to support a client’s needs.
