Scope: 14,000sf Multi-Specialty Clinic for the UC Irvine Health Medical Group that supports Pediatrics, Internal/Family Medicine, Urgent Care, on-site lab collection/processing and basic imaging services (ultrasound & radiography). The medical planning of each clinic incorporated a modified Lean Clinic design embedding physicians, nurses, and schedulers directly into each treatment Pod of 3 exam rooms per physician office. The hybrid concept reduces patient wait times, staff travel distances and co-locates the care giver team within the treatment spaces. The project also included seismic upgrades to the 16,000 multi-building facility and exterior upgrades to provide covered entry.
